Grocery store holds promotional giveaway to celebrate anniversary

Many businesses hold promotional giveaways in order to celebrate special occasions. According to the Tampa Tribune, the Whole Foods Market in Carrollwood, Fla., will do just that as it recognizes its first anniversary.

The grocery store plans to distribute free samples and special prizes, as well as host fun games. On November 2, there will be anniversary cake for customers as well, and goodie bags for the first 100 patrons to arrive at the establishment. The following day will feature free breakfast items between 9:30 and 11 a.m.

Finally, the celebration will conclude with a scavenger hunt. Participants will have to search for specific items throughout the store. The grand prize is a $100 gift card, but everyone who joins will receive a special prize.

Small businesses should consider holding their own scavenger hunts with promotional items acting as the rewards. Customers would have a great time as they searched for promotional mugs, water bottles and wall calendars. This may be the best way to ensure that consumers will have a great time and want to attend marketing events. As a result, attendance for future giveaways will likely increase.
